I am having fun playing around with heat and copper. I used my torch to get these great colors on
this copper cuff. I found that the best
way to achieve this is to heat the whole piece. Then go back and concentrate
the heat on specific sections to get the colors. The colors change from pinks to fuchsia to
greens to purples to turquoise and black depending on how much heat is
applied. After you get the look you want,
apply Renaissance wax to hold the finish.
I found that two or three applications work the best. Apply a thin coat of wax and let dry and then
buff to a nice shine. Repeat the waxing again.
I also used heat to achieve this pretty golden pink finish on these copper earrings.
