MIVAL Art Gallery Opened on Thursday

The MIVAL Art Gallery had its grand opening on Thursday.
(MIVAL stand for Mercer Island Visual Arts League)  The gallery looks great!  If you are in the area , please check it out.

Sneak Peek at the new MIVAL Art Gallery

The Mercer Island Visual Arts League is getting ready to open a gallery on Thursday November 19th. It is located in the Avellino Building at 2836 78th Ave. SE. The cooperative style gallery will be managed and staffed by  MIVAL artists. There will be 28 fabulous artists represented at this venue. I made a trip over there yesterday to drop off some jewelry and took some pictures. They are hoping to be set up by the end of the week. There is lots of work yet to be done. Paintings are lined up ready to be hung and display cases need to be built.  The walls are freshly painted and the gallery looks beautiful.   There will be  lots of unique art to shop, including pottery, jewelry, glass and of course wonderful paintings. I will post more pictures next week after all the work is finished.
